ULTRABLUE Series

The NSF-50-certified ULTRABLUE series is the result of extensive scientific research and R&D activities, aimed at optimizing disinfection, reducing chloramines, and ensuring safety against crypto and giardia in swimming pools. The system effectively lowers combined chlorine levels, improves air quality, and provides healthier water for swimmers.

Over the past decade, research has revealed that most measured combined chlorine levels in swimming pools consist of organic chloramine compounds. With its pool-optimized medium-pressure lamp technology, the ULTRABLUE ensures a low level of organic combined chlorine through continuous photolysis.

To minimize operating costs, the ULTRABLUE features reactor geometries and electronic control systems designed with large flanged connections and body geometry, resulting in minimal head loss even at high flow rates. Its intelligent PLC control enables automatic operational efficiency through lamp dimming based on combined chlorine sensing, time-of-day/week timers, flow rate, or the UV sensor. This allows the system to be dimmed and operated based on several intelligent, user-selectable set points in real-time to save energy. Additionally, during operating hours, it can be set to maintain a minimum UV dose to provide a barrier against crypto and giardia.

The reactor geometries and electronic control systems have been designed to minimize operating costs, with large flanged connections and body geometry that result in very low head loss even at high flow rates. Material selection and high-quality industrial components guarantee long-term, trouble-free operation in mostly hot, humid, and corrosive pool environments.
